Thank you for the amazing support you have given this game project! The Infinity Kickstarter has been a success beyond our wildest expectations. But it is not time to celebrate yet. The clock is ticking. Alpha is coming. This game is a huge responsibility . While we normally joke around about things... this is something we take very seriously. The roller coaster of releasing a new game has already begun. Excited to experience this new chapter of AdventureQuest Worlds with you!

Spider showed the team his progress on theplayer house customization for Infinity. Chibi Captain Rhubarb as a temporary placeholder for every house item interesting pick. :D You can place objects, change the size, and flip it. I like the little previews in the House Inventory. Concerned what might happen if you have a large number of items though. Also, we may need to increase the button sizes for mobile. This is great progress on player housing.

Earlier this week I put in a BIG request for Steam Keys. The status is currently pending.

In other news today, I met with Captain Rhubarb and Alina today to finalize our plans for getting backers their codes, rewards, how statues will be stored, and building a way to let benevolent founders select the items they will sponsor. We pulled data and were super happy to discover that we already have all of the data we need to fulfill all major rewards. We are still launching the pledge manager where you can adjust your pledge, get add-ons, and choose a name to appear in the credits. But there was an alarming discovering. 1,934 backers have payment errors. That means their payments were unable to be processed. If none of them are fixed, the Kickstarter will suddenly drop $151,078. Payments errors include a few of the custom backers. Kickstarter will keep trying for 6 more days. But if they are unable to fix their payment in time their pledges will be cancelled and those slots will open back up.
Thank you and congratulations everyone! The AdventureQuest Worlds: Infinity Kickstarter is officially funded and successful. Missed it? It is still possible to "Late Back" the project. In the next few weeks, the team will be sending out surveys to get the information to begin delivering rewards and starting the Alpha. Here we go!
During last week's live draw, Dage was drawing items to be included as extra rewards for the Kickstarter backers. Dage started with a sword... and is the finished version!

Tuesday is the day! Anyone who backs the AQWorlds: Infinity Kickstarter within the first 24-hours will recieve a "Backed on the 1st Day" Statue of Dooooom for your in-game house.
The AdventureQuest Worlds: Infinity Kickstarter begins in less than 24 hours.... (Tuesday at noon EST). Over the weekend I put together the video trailer with the help of Alteon and the team. Thank you to everyone who ran around the game with me at the last moment to grab footage. At today's full team meeting... we split into two groups. Because over the next month we will be simultaneously running the Kickstarter & preparing for the launch of Infinity's Alpha.

I LOVE the Bludrut Blade! It is probably the 1st "Infinity Weapon" to be fully completed. Ghost did the animation, shader, & particle FX. Cannot wait to see this version of the game filled with beautiful animated items. During the second half of today I returned to working on the Kickstarter trailer video (I am sooooo behind schedule) but ran into some hilarious bugs. Click read more below to see :D

Despair told me there was an unexpected influx of AQWorlds streamers. To all of them, thank you! Friday, in Infinity, we continued the fixes and server patches. Got some super helpful tips (Love our Grey Hats). Also, Captain Rhubarb is experimenting with some compression to make the game run faster for you. As for the Kickstarter, I still need to make the trailer. The YouTuber/Player known as Alteon recorded almost all of the major cutscenes from AQWorlds and sent them too me to help. I love this community so much.

Today was crazy productive! Thank you to the team and testers who helped with every part of today. From testing the new armors, character screen, player inspect screen, loot inventory, and power gems.... to checking & recording boss fights, fixing cutscenes, and writing... to working on the code for combat, hacking, and movement. Not to mention the late night Project Omni Coding :D It has been 15 hours. I am... Zzzz..... Zzzz....... battle... off.... zzzz.....

Tunik, Warlic, and I were working on the Character screen just now and Tunik yells, "AH! A Bug!" I said... in the UI? He said, "No! On my desk!" Live-action game bugs? Game dev is fought with peril.
